We are dedicated to advancing the creation, dissemination, and application of knowledge through close collaboration with the public, researchers, libraries, funders, and publishers. We believe research deserves to become part of popular culture: accessible and understood by everyday people while researchers steadily move away from Ivory Tower and the esoteric status. Research should be an inclusive and welcoming space for anyone eager to contribute to understanding nature and society. No discrimination should exist between public and private research; instead, the two should become more collaborative.
